Lettres is an ABC book of writers.
It depicts 26 authors from around the world, referred to by their initials only.
Initials move up and down the left page, as a reference to the thumbnails which border dictionaries.
The open spine and cardboard covers pay homage to the condition that repeated usage turns
dictionaries into, as well as the endearing cheapness of the materials they are made of.
15" x 24"
Woodcut (portraits) and monotype (typework)
Edition of 3, printed on Rives B.F.K paper.
